Notice to media and organizations Re. Mr. Prime Minister's call.

Dear Media and Organizations:
Updated

Topic: A phone call from Prime Minister of Canada regarding appealing to him to order a public inquiry into a torture case through the use of non-lethal weapon, happened in Canada.

Please be advised that I will delay my plan to take to the Ottawa Street starting from July 20, 2009, to appeal to Mr. Stephen Harper to order a public inquiry into this torture case.

On June 30, 2009, I wrote to Mr. Stephen Harper and Mr. Chief Vernon White of Ottawa Police Service, to inform them that on July 20, 2009 I would stand in front of Mr. Stephen Harper’s office to appeal to him to order a public inquiry.

Today, July 17, 2009, I received a phone call from Mr. Prime Minister of Canada,613 948 …., regarding my request for a public inquiry. Due to this phone call from him, I decided to delay this plan. After further contact with them, I will inform all of you of all details about that. I am terribly sorry for changing my itinerary.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Robin Yan
